Easy entry with the 360 degree rotation
	Ask any parent and they’ll tell you, bending over to get little ones in and out of the car can be a strain on your back. The DUALFIX 360 degree rotating seat makes that problem go away. With the press of a button you can easily turn the seat left or right, to face the open door, then you place your child securely in the car seat and rotate the seat back into either the rear or forward facing position where it clicks firmly into place. It’s a little bit of help that makes a big difference in your daily routine.
	Convenient rear to forward facing
Research shows that rearward facing is the safest direction of travel for newborns and toddlers, as it offers the best protection in frontal collisions. We recommend that your child travels rearward facing for as long as possible. With the DUALFIX 360 degree rotating seat you can decide when you want to make the switch to forward facing because we believe every family has the right to decide what’s best for their child.

Extended rearward facing

Rearward facing car seats offer the best protection in the event of a frontal collision – the most frequent type of accident on the roads. In a frontal collision with a rearward facing seat the crash forces are directed to the back of the seat, while the remaining energy is spread evenly across the head, neck and upper body. With a forward facing seat the energy of the impact is distributed differently across the seat structure and restraint system – potentially resulting in more energy impacting on the child’s body. We recommend that children should travel rearward facing for as long as possible.

The Britax Römer Pivot Link ISOFIX System

In case of an impact, our patented Pivot Link ISOFIX System directs the force first downward (1), into the vehicle seat, and then forward (2), more gently – greatly reducing the risk of head and neck injury for your child.

Performance Chest Pads

Our performance chest pads provide comfort and reduce your child’s forward movement in a frontal collision with extra care and attention to the child’s delicate neck. They also help spread the forces from a frontal impact more evenly across your child’s shoulders and chest.

Multi-recline positions

Keeping your child comfortable while travelling is a must. That’s why this seat was designed with multiple recline positions, forward and rearward facing, that you can adjust with ease – offering a stress-free journey with a happy child.

5-point harness

We believe a 5-point harness is the safest way to secure your child in a car seat because it keeps your child safe and tight in the seat’s protective shell. In the event of a collision, the harness distributes the forces of the impact across 5 points, two at the shoulders, two at the hips and one where the harness buckles between the legs. This helps to protect your child from all directions of impact. 

Easy adjustable headrest and harness

Our padded headrest and harness can easily be adjusted with one hand to suit your child’s height. Before you install the seat in your car, check to make sure the headrest is in the correct position – just above your child’s shoulders.

Quick-remove cover 

Things can get pretty messy on the road. Drinks can spill and children can get car sick. That’s why we designed a machine washable seat cover that can easily be taken off without removing the harness, so you can clean up quick and get on your way.

Deep, protective side wings

Our soft, padded side wings act as a protective cocoon that helps to absorb the force from a side impact, reducing the risk of injuries to your child. 

Newborn extra-comfort insert

Especially designed to give extra support to newborn babies. The included newborn insert allows abies to lie flatter in a comfortable, ergonomic position. 

Height adjustable support leg

The support leg provides extra stability for the car seat via the vehicle floor. It minimises the tilting and rotational movement and reduces the forward movement forces exerted on your child in a crash situation, helping to protect them. For a secure installation, the support leg can be adjusted to suit the height that’s best for your car. The easy-to-read indicator shows you when the support leg is positioned firmly on your vehicle’s floor.

Installation of the Dualfix

ISOFIX with support leg

This child car seat needs to be attached to the ISOFIX anchorage points of your vehicle. ISOFIX is a standard system of connection points featured in almost all cars. This establishes a secure and firm connection between the child’s car seat and the car. DUALFIX specific requirements – a safe installation is completed with the use of a support leg to allow optimum stability.
